High education policies kill
Recently, two such policies have been created, which can be called a wrong step in the path of higher education. The first of these is to create a new education policy of the government, and the other is the 'Institute of Amenance'. The idea of education policy is communist and socialist, and it is difficult to form a synergy with right-wing ideology of the current government. Secondly, the idea of the Institute of Iminense is not born with what motivation, which has forced most of the big educational institutions to go under the control of the bureaucracy to join the competition. To dismiss this idea or policy many facts can be presented.
- In India, the construction of IIT was done with the objective of excellence. But his performance did not stand the test. There are three main reasons behind this: (1) High control of the government, (2) middle class faculty and (3) not join any such program to connect with the real problems of India, so that students can get inspiration.
- Institutes like IITs are kept in the category of Super Institution. Students coming in this are also of high quality. But neither they get excellent teachers, nor do they get enough time to prove themselves.
- An earlier attempt was made to develop five IITs based on the well-known institutions of the West. But it has not been implemented in a very thoughtful manner. Indeed, Indianization was to be done to flourish with foreign patterns. The semester program received from the American model has only been successful.
- Both the IITs and the government have not been able to attract world-class teachers. So far, an outstanding teacher has not expressed his desire to teach at the Indian Institute.
- The process of selection in IIT is accomplished by a joint examination. It does not use the talent of students in any particular field. Allocation of departments is being done on the basis of talent, not on the basis of talent but on the basis of marks. On the other hand, there are institutes like MIT, Harvard, which, in keeping with special engineering programs in addition to the selection set of students.
- Our institutions are at zero level at the research level. For this, the institutions have not done any extra effort to raise funds.
Paying attention to the shortcomings of Indian higher education, we must also remember that the education system of Western countries like America is also struggling with many shortcomings. Therefore, India should develop its own fundamental system, which is conducive to its environment.
